DISADVANTAGES

The eligibility of working from home may affect a person's commitment as they take advantage of the privileges which technology has entitled them to and so their standard of work may slip. Eventually this could lead to an employee in losing their job
- The fact employees are able to work from home may lead to employers to expect them to complete more work as they have more flexibility around the completion of work. This will be expected with no pay rise which employees may become unhappy about. Employees may become stressed and so the quality of work they produce would be not to the standard which is required.
- Those employees who are not comfortable with the use of ICT in their work like may find it difficult to adapt and so they would not be able to complete work in time. Those employees may become under pressure to learn and cope with the evolution in their professional life. This may lead to problems mentally and so work may become too much.
